A Year in the Big Old Garden

Our diorama features several of the main characters in Witmer’s delightful read aloud book: Sammy the Squirrel, Smudge the rabbit, Mr. Cardinal, and even that naughty Trixie the cat.

This display would pair wonderfully with Witmer’s books, The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, and other nonfiction titles about backyard wildlife. A list of other suggested learning activities available upon request.
